Today's Stock Market, March 31: VN-Index May Continue to Move Toward the 1,700–1,725 Range
With market sentiment still quite cautious, this upward trend will be accompanied by volatility.
BASIC MARKET
The VN-Index continued to rise by nearly 12 points today, closing at 1,674.49 points.
Market breadth leaned toward the positive side, with 11 out of 18 sectors gaining ground, led by the Industrial Goods & Services and Real Estate sectors. On the downside, the Oil & Gas sector saw the sharpest decline, followed by the Chemicals sector.
Regarding foreign investor activity, foreign investors were net sellers on the HSX and UPCOM exchanges today, while they were net buyers on the HNX exchange.
In the coming sessions, the VN-Index may continue to move toward the previous resistance zone of 1,700–1,725; however, given the market’s still cautious sentiment, this upward trend will be accompanied by volatility.

CONTRACTS All futures contracts rose, in line with the movement of the VN30.

In the trading session on March 31, 2026, most warrants moved in line with the recovery of the underlying stocks.
