Today's Stock Market 12/2: Trading Market Lacks Consensus

The stock market returned to its usual pattern in the days leading up to Tet with low liquidity. The biggest support came from Vin stocks, helping the VN-Index maintain its green color.

BASIC MARKET
The VN-Index continued to rise by more than 17 points today, mainly contributed by Vin stocks, and closed at 1,814.09 points.

Market breadth leaned positive with 11 out of 18 sectors gaining points, with the Real Estate sector continuing to lead the gains, followed by the Automobiles & Accessories sector.

Regarding foreign trading, today this group bought net on the HSX and HNX exchanges and sold net on the UPCOM exchange. The market is still trading quite loosely with low liquidity. The market may trade more stably after the Tet holiday.

FUTURES
CONTRACTS All futures contracts rose in line with the movement of the VN30.

WARRANTS
In the trading session on February 12, 2026, warrants fluctuated in line with the upward trend.

VN-Index +17.24 points, closing at 1814.09 points. HNX-Index +0.62 points, closing at 256.48 points.
• Pulled the index up: VIC (+14.06), VHM (+5.48), BSR (+0.48), EIB (+0.39), MWG (+0.31).
• Pulling the index down: BID (-1.38), MBB (-1.07), VCB (-0.87), GAS (-0.30), MCH (-0.27).
• The VN-Index's matched order value reached VND 14,876 billion, down -38.26% compared to the previous session. Total trading value reached VND 16,526 billion.
• Trading range: 11.51 points. The market had 177 gainers, 68 unchanged stocks, and 135 losers.
• Net buying value of foreign investors: VND 342.43 billion on the HOSE, including VIC (VND 201.55 billion), GMD (VND 115.08 billion), FUEVFVND (VND 83.12 billion), EIB (VND 53.50 billion), MWG (VND 51.83 billion). Foreign investors net bought on the HNX with a value of 10.12 billion VND.
