Warning: Scam Involving Reward Point Redemption via Branded SMS Messages

Recently, some customers have received SMS messages with the BIDV brand name notifying them of a reward points redemption from their credit cards and including a link for customers to enter their personal and account information. In reality, this is a fraudulent link designed to trick customers into revealing their card information and online banking security details in order to steal their assets.

BIDV does not send SMS messages containing links. Any messages with links are fraudulent. Therefore, customers must absolutely not click on any links sent via SMS purporting to be from BIDV.

If you discover or suspect a fraudulent message, please immediately notify BIDV at the nearest branch, call the hotline at 19009247, or contact the nearest police station for assistance.

BIDV respectfully advises customers to remain vigilant against such fraudulent attempts to ensure the security of their transactions.
