BIDV's Weekly Cultural Newsletter (December 8, 2025 - December 12, 2025)
Last week, units across the BIDV system simultaneously implemented many meaningful cultural activities aimed at the community, spreading BIDV's spirit of responsibility.

BIDV Trade Union successfully organized its 7th Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.
On December 6, 2025, the 7th BIDV Trade Union Congress was held with 258 delegates representing over 29,000 union members throughout the system. The Congress elected 21 members to the BIDV Trade Union Executive Committee for the 7th term, 45 official delegates, and 5 alternate delegates to the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union. Inaugurated with the determination to build a "Strong - Professional - Creative" Trade Union, the new Executive Committee will bring about new innovations and positive changes in the coming term.
In addition, the Congress also offered a special highlight: the "Pride Corner - Preserving Moments" experience space. Here, delegates could have their photos taken and receive automatically printed photos as meaningful small gifts, capturing beautiful memories of their journey attending the Congress.

Reaching out to our compatriots affected by floods and storms.
In recent days, in response to the national spirit of mutual support and solidarity, units throughout the system have implemented many practical activities, providing both material and spiritual support to people in flood-affected areas. These timely actions not only help people alleviate difficulties and quickly stabilize their lives, but also clearly demonstrate the spirit of community and social responsibility that BIDV has always pursued throughout its development journey.

Sharing with workers
With the spirit of "mutual support" and "everyone for one," on December 4, 2025, the Trade Union of Branch 2 of the Stock Exchange organized a meeting with union members whose families were severely affected by the recent storms and floods. They presented gifts of encouragement and sincere words of support, helping the staff to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and focus on their work.

These timely gifts and acts of sharing not only have material value but also provide immense spiritual support, helping union members' families to become stronger after the natural disaster. This activity has contributed to spreading the image of the BIDV Trade Union as increasingly humane, responsible, and cohesive.

Handing over the Solidarity House.
On the morning of December 6, 2025, BIDV Ben Tre, in coordination with the local authorities, held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a solidarity house to Mr. Nguyen Van Nha's family in Vinh Long province, with a total sponsorship cost of 70 million VND.

The house handed over represents the heartfelt contribution of the entire staff and employees of BIDV Ben Tre, helping to create better conditions for disadvantaged families to develop and improve their lives.

Let's join hands to spread love.
Following the policy of BIDV and the BIDV Financial Institutions Board regarding the sponsorship of health insurance cards for disadvantaged people in the "Giving Health Insurance Cards - Warm Tet 2025" program, BIDV Lam Son, in coordination with the Thanh Hoa Provincial Social Insurance and the People's Committee of Xuan Thai commune, organized the donation of 237 health insurance cards to poor and near-poor households in the area.

This is part of BIDV's large-scale program with a total funding of 5 billion VND, aimed at helping disadvantaged people access healthcare services and reduce medical expenses. These health insurance cards not only provide material support but also bring peace of mind and confidence to the people ahead of the new year.
