Last week, units across the BIDV system simultaneously implemented many meaningful cultural activities aimed at the community, spreading BIDV's spirit of responsibility.
Celebrating the 29th anniversary of the establishment of the BIDV Trade Union (December 26, 1996 - December 26, 2025)
On December 25, 2025, the BIDV Trade Union organized a program to celebrate the 29th anniversary of the establishment of the BIDV Trade Union (December 26, 1996 - December 26, 2025) and a meeting with delegates attending the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union.
The program is an opportunity to review the 29-year journey of building and developing the BIDV Trade Union, to acknowledge and express gratitude for the dedicated and persistent contributions of generations of trade union officials throughout the years, contributing to strengthening trust, spreading the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and determination to contribute to the overall success of the Congress as well as the sustainable development of BIDV.
Spreading love to our compatriots in flood-stricken areas.
Recently, BIDV Phu Xuan has actively implemented many practical and meaningful social welfare activities aimed at people affected by storms and floods, such as donating many loving gifts to disadvantaged students and families affected by floods, and also accompanying local authorities in programs to care for people's lives...
A series of activities aimed at helping fellow citizens by the branch.
Also last week, BIDV Ba Ria - Vung Tau branch donated 80 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vung Tau ward to support people in the Central and Central Highlands provinces who suffered heavy losses due to floods.
These gifts, imbued with practical meaning, humanistic values, and the warm hearts of BIDV's staff and employees, contribute to sharing difficulties and instilling confidence in people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and stabilize their lives.
Support for planting protective forests in Bat Xat, Lao Cai
On December 20th, in Bat Xat commune (Lao Cai province), the Bat Xat Regional Forest Management Unit, in coordination with the BIDV Lao Cai Trade Union, organized a ceremony to launch a supplementary reforestation project in Sub-area 102, aiming to increase forest cover and contribute to protecting the ecological environment in the area. The entire project, totaling over 271 million VND, was sponsored by BIDV Lao Cai.
This is a practical activity, demonstrating the joint efforts of businesses and local authorities in responding to the "Planting 1 Billion Trees" program launched by the Prime Minister, contributing to sustainable forestry development and climate change adaptation.
Construction begins on 3 solidarity houses.
As part of the 2026 Tet (Lunar New Year) activities for the military and civilians, on the morning of December 22, 2025, BIDV An Giang participated with the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Xuyen ward (An Giang province) in the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of three solidarity houses for near-poor households with difficult housing circumstances in the ward.
The program demonstrated BIDV's commitment to the community, standing alongside the people and spreading profound humanitarian values in society.
Donating Smart Medical Kiosks and Firewall Systems to Support Medical Examinations and Treatments.
On the afternoon of December 19, 2025, BIDV An Giang Branch donated a smart medical kiosk and firewall system to Chau Doc Medical Center to support the digitalization of the medical examination and treatment process at the Center.
Through its support of smart medical kiosks and firewall systems, BIDV hopes to contribute to providing convenience for people in accessing medical services and improving the operational efficiency of the Chau Doc Medical Center.
Sow seeds of love
On December 25, 2025, in response to the 2025 Winter Volunteer Campaign and the 2026 Spring Volunteer Campaign, the Party Committee, Trade Union, and Youth Union of BIDV An Giang Bank, in coordination with the Party Branch of the Inspection Committee of Long Xuyen Ward, organized the "Sowing Seeds of Love" program at the Nguyen Du Charity Class.
During the program, the branch presented gifts to 13 underprivileged students attending the class. This activity not only provided practical material support but also served as a great source of encouragement, instilling confidence and motivation in the students to continue attending school, nurturing their dreams, and striving for a better life.
A warm Christmas – a time for love and connection.
Recently, amidst the festive Christmas atmosphere, the units organized meaningful activities such as a gathering and exchange program with retired staff of the Hanoi branch, and gift-giving to staff of the Cu Chi and My Dinh branches.
These heartwarming activities not only spread the loving atmosphere of Christmas, but also affirm the beautiful culture of BIDV – where generations always connect, cherish each other, and share enduring human values.
