According to the Governor, on this occasion, the State Bank of Vietnam and the Vietnam Banking Union launched two very meaningful competitive campaigns. The Governor requested that the heads and union chairpersons of all units in the sector fully exercise their responsibility to set an example and take the lead in organizing and implementing the campaigns in their units, as well as thoroughly understanding, motivating, encouraging, propagating, and mobilizing officials, union members, and employees in their units to actively participate and respond. Information and press agencies in the banking industry should coordinate with units to promote information and publicity, creating a strong ripple effect within the industry and throughout society. At the same time, the Personnel Department should advise and propose to the Banking Industry Competition and Reward Council and the Governor of the SBV to promptly reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the competition campaigns.
The Governor emphasized that 2026 is the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the socio-economic development plan for the 2026-2030 period. It is the first year of entering a new era for the nation. It is also the year of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. For the banking sector, 2026 is even more significant as it marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the State Bank of Vietnam.
In that spirit, the Governor hopes that all officials, union members, and employees in the banking sector will actively respond to and participate in the emulation movement with concrete and practical actions, contributing to the collective efforts of their work units and the entire banking sector to achieve outstanding achievements in 2026.
"I am confident that, with the active participation of all officials, members, and employees of the banking industry and the decisive and substantive involvement of party organizations, mass organizations, and leadership teams of units within the sector, the emulation movement will be widely implemented, spread strongly, and reap many outstanding achievements, contributing positively to the common emulation movement of the entire political system and practically celebrating the success of the 14th National Party Congress and the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the State Bank of Vietnam," the Governor emphasized.
