BIDV Launches Its Journey to Build the “Bank of Happiness for Workers”
On June 30, 2026, BIDV officially launched the project “Building BIDV as the ‘Happy Bank for Employees’”
This marks the first time BIDV has developed a comprehensive program focused on employee happiness and experience across the entire system, signifying a new milestone in its human resources development strategy and the strengthening of a people-centered corporate culture.

Developed with the close attention and guidance of multiple generations of BIDV leadership, the project introduces a comprehensive approach to employee well-being and experience. Going beyond simply adding employee welfare policies, the project aims for a deeper goal: to ensure that the organization’s care is not merely present on paper, but is felt in every workday, at every point of professional interaction, and in the daily lives of every BIDV employee.
Through the Happy Bank Project, BIDV reaffirms its key priorities:
Putting people at the center of sustainable development
In a context where businesses increasingly view people as the decisive factor in long-term competitiveness, BIDV has chosen to approach employee well-being as a sustainable development strategy rather than a standalone welfare program.
The project is built upon the foundation of employee care policies that BIDV has implemented over many years, while also incorporating a comprehensive system of solutions designed to enhance employees’ experiences throughout their entire career journey. From the moment they join the organization, through career development and long-term service, to retirement, employees are always at the center of management policies.
Through this approach, BIDV aims to improve employees’ quality of life and work, focusing on factors that are increasingly important to society, such as physical and mental health, work-life balance, personal development, and long-term happiness.

Spreading Humanistic Values from Employees to Their Families and Society
The implementation of the “Happy Bank” Project continues to reaffirm the cultural values cultivated over BIDV’s nearly 70-year journey of development: putting people first, valuing connection, loyalty, and a spirit of partnership.
One of the project’s highlights is its consistent care for both current and retired employees. This is not only a gesture of gratitude for the contributions of generations of employees but also reflects the desire to maintain the bond between generations and carry forward the values of mutual support that have become part of BIDV’s identity.
This spirit is also extended to employees’ families. BIDV not only supports employees in their work but also aims to share in the important milestones of their lives, so that employees can work with peace of mind, care for their families, and remain committed to the organization for the long term.

BIDV believes that every happy employee contributes to building happier families, more cohesive communities, and spreading positive values throughout society. This is also BIDV’s commitment to harmoniously balancing business objectives with its responsibility toward people and the community, aiming for long-term sustainable development.
| Affirming its position as a leading employer brand As a bank that has been honored for many consecutive years in the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam, BIDV continues to affirm the appeal of its employer brand by elevating its human resources management strategy, aiming to build a happy work environment—where employees are listened to, recognized, supported in their development, and proud to commit to the bank for the long term. Building on this foundation, BIDV not only creates a better workplace for its employees but also builds a sustainable competitive advantage rooted in its people, culture, and humanistic values. |
