On June 10, 2026, at the BIDV Tower, 194 Tran Quang Khai Street, Hanoi, BIDV and VietED Smart Education Technology Joint Stock Company held the launch ceremony for the "Procurement of an Integrated Learning Management System (LMS)" project, marking the official start of one of the bank’s key digital transformation projects in the field of human resource development.
Deputy General Director Nguyen Thi Quynh Giao delivered remarks at the project launch ceremony.
Representing BIDV were Deputy General Director Nguyen Thi Quynh Giao, members of the Project Management Board, and representatives from relevant departments, including the Human Resources Department, the Technology Department, the Software Development Center, the Information Technology Center, and the Central Procurement Center. On the partner side, there were leadership representatives from VietED (Vietnam Smart Education Technology Joint Stock Company).
The LMS system is deployed on a cloud computing platform and is expected to serve the entire BIDV system with a scale of up to 25,000 users after three years of operation. This marks a fundamental shift in the bank’s training philosophy: moving from a passive model—where employees only participate in training upon notification—to an active, continuous, and flexible training model, allowing each employee to design a learning path tailored to their job requirements. The system supports diverse learning formats such as in-person, online, and blended learning, and is capable of integrating with international training platforms like Udemy and Coursera. At the launch ceremony, both parties agreed on an implementation plan to be carried out within six months from the contract signing date (June 4, 2026), with key phases including: system installation and integration, testing, security assessment, training rollout, and final acceptance. The system will be seamlessly integrated with BIDV’s current internal software, including One Access, MIS, PS, and WeBex.
BIDV leadership, unit leaders and staff, along with the partner, took a commemorative photo at the event.
With the LMS project, BIDV continues to accelerate digital transformation in the bank’s human resources training activities. Additionally, the implementation of a staff training platform integrated with modern technologies reflects the bank’s commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and enhancing the capabilities of its workforce, contributing to the implementation of solid steps in the bank’s comprehensive digital transformation strategy for the coming period.
