BIDV Participates in the 2026 Financial and Banking Innovation Forum
On October 4, 2026, at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank (BIDV) participated in the 2026 Financial and Banking Innovation Forum.
The forum was held as part of the 2026 National Innovation Festival, organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Hanoi People’s Committee.
The forum brought together representatives from regulatory agencies, financial and banking institutions, technology companies, and experts. Delegates discussed technology trends, business models, and innovative solutions to help drive the digital transformation of the financial and banking sector in this new phase.
BIDV Showcases Technology Solutions for Customers
At the event, BIDV Deputy General Director Vu Hoang Duong presented to Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung and leaders of various ministries and sectors BIDV’s modern technological solutions and notable achievements in developing its digital ecosystem.
BIDV is gradually transitioning from providing individual products and services to creating a seamless financial journey that meets the diverse needs of individual customers, households, and businesses—ranging from payments, savings, credit, and investments to other financial services.
BIDV’s exhibition space attracted the attention of Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Pham Tien Dung and other delegates. There, BIDV showcased notable achievements in technology adoption and shared its customer-centric approach to innovation and development.
Alongside its investment in technology, BIDV continues to expand its partnerships with digital platforms across various sectors, bringing financial services closer to customers’ actual needs. BIDV views technology and data as the foundation for understanding customers, personalizing experiences, and developing new service models. At the Forum, Mr. Nghiem Manh Hung, Deputy Director in charge of BIDV’s AI and Innovation Center, presented a paper titled “From Technological Self-Reliance to a Connected Ecosystem Creating Tangible Value.”
Participating in the 2026 Financial and Banking Innovation Forum further reaffirms BIDV’s proactive role in promoting innovation, digital transformation, and the development of a digital financial ecosystem.
