Huynh Nhat Nam Mar, 13,2026 11:28

To educate on revolutionary traditions, foster patriotism, and enhance political awareness among officials and party members, on the occasion of the 22nd December anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, The BIDV Quang Nam Bank Party Committee organized a Party Committee activity program combined with a visit to the Truong Son Martyrs' Cemetery, the National Martyrs' Cemetery on Route 9, and the ancient city of Quang Tri in Quang Tri province.

These are sacred historical sites that mark the glorious achievements of the Vietnamese people in defending their homeland. This Party branch meeting also marked a new step in the form of regular meetings. Instead of organizing traditional meetings in a room with a heavy formal atmosphere, the Party branch decided to organize a meeting combined with a practical visit to help Party members directly experience and thereby gain a deeper understanding of the traditional values of the nation.

Each Party member revisited the glorious history of the nation and paid tribute to the contributions of previous generations.

In addition, the trip was also an opportunity for each Party member to review the nation's heroic history and pay tribute to the contributions of previous generations. At the Truong Son Martyrs' Cemetery, the final resting place of tens of thousands of soldiers who fought on the legendary Truong Son route, the delegation offered incense in remembrance and expressed their infinite gratitude to the nation's outstanding sons and daughters who remain here forever.

Next, at the National Martyrs' Cemetery on Route 9, where many graves of soldiers who sacrificed their lives on the battlefield of Route 9 - South Laos are gathered, the party members deeply appreciated the value of today's peace. Looking at the rows of tombstones with many inscriptions reading "Unknown Martyr," each person was reminded of the silent but noble sacrifice of these soldiers.

In particular, upon arriving at the ancient citadel of Quang Tri – the site of fierce fighting during the 81-day-and-night Battle of Quang Tri Citadel in 1972 – the delegation listened to moving stories about the fighting spirit of our soldiers and people. Here, every inch of land is soaked with the blood and bones of countless soldiers who bravely held their ground to defend every fortification of their homeland. In the prime of their lives, they made the ultimate sacrifice, falling so that the nation could forever rise.

Through this trip to the source, each Party member gained a deeper understanding of the value of independence, freedom, and peace. At the same time, it was also an opportunity for each person to reflect on themselves, enhance their sense of responsibility in their work, maintain their political integrity and revolutionary morality, and promote the tradition of "remembering the source" of the nation.
