On July 21, in Hanoi, BIDV and Global Telecommunications Corporation - Global Telecommunications (GTEL) officially signed a Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement, marking a new phase of collaboration between the two entities based on leveraging each party’s strengths in the two key sectors of finance and banking and technology.

That information was provided by Mr. Le Ngoc Lam, CEO of BIDV, at the 2026 Banking Task Implementation Conference. Accordingly, in the context of the entire banking industry vigorously implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, BIDV continues to affirm its pioneering role with comprehensive digital transformation results, particularly in internal governance activities.
