Hanoi on the day of return: An emotional finale between generations of BIDV.
In the warm atmosphere of the year-end days, on December 24, 2025, BIDV Hanoi successfully organized its annual gathering program titled "Hanoi Homecoming Day".
This is not only an activity to express gratitude to retired employees but also an opportunity to honor the fine traditional cultural values that generations of workers at the Branch have diligently cultivated over the past 68 years.
The reunion took place in a deeply moving atmosphere, where veteran staff members had the opportunity to revisit their old workplace, witnessing the impressive transformation and the increasingly strong position of BIDV Hanoi. Radiant smiles, firm handshakes, and sincere greetings between generations created an invisible yet enduring bond. For the younger staff, this was a precious opportunity to listen to professional stories, feel the dedication and sense of responsibility of their predecessors, and thereby gain further motivation to contribute to the common cause.

Reporting on the branch's performance at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Duong, Branch Director, enthusiastically shared the impressive achievements the unit had attained in 2025. Overcoming numerous challenges, BIDV Hanoi has excelled, rising to second place in the entire BIDV system in terms of business efficiency, while also recording a significant breakthrough in labor productivity. This achievement is a worthy inheritance built upon the solid foundation left by previous generations.
Besides sharing in the joy, the branch leadership also paid special attention to caring for the lives of retired employees. Ms. Tran Phuong Oanh, Chairwoman of the Trade Union and Deputy Director of the branch, provided detailed information on the benefits under Directive 89/CT-BIDV, along with additional welfare policies that BIDV Hanoi is applying specifically for its retired employees. This clearly demonstrates the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source," affirming the unit's appreciation for the past contributions of its employees.
The highlight of the program was a warm and heartfelt birthday celebration for the elderly retirees, including two 90-year-olds, eight 85-88-year-olds, and nine 70-80-year-olds. Self-composed and self-performed musical acts interspersed with songs added to the lively and intimate atmosphere of the gathering. Concluding this meaningful event, the occasion not only conveyed wishes for good health and longevity to 115 retired employees but also reaffirmed the strength of unity and discipline – core values that enable BIDV Hanoi to continue its growth on the banking industry map.
