Adapting to the pressure and pace of a professional work environment.

Having emerged from the financial game show *The Moneyverse 2025* as a Top 6 finalist, what was the biggest difference you noticed between the theory on the competition stage and the practical operations when you started working at the Digital Banking Services Department of BIDV’s Ha Dong Branch?

Upon joining BIDV, I transitioned into a completely different role—that of a specialist in a professional banking environment, where every task is tied to the actual needs of customers and the unit’s overall development goals. I had to learn how to accurately understand customer needs, coordinate with relevant departments, and propose solutions that are appropriate, effective, and provide long-term value.

In particular, I realized that knowledge is just the foundation. The transition from a student competing to conquer challenges to a young professional working in a real-world environment is a huge step toward maturity. Because we don’t just work for ourselves—we also join forces to contribute to the organization’s growth and deliver the best possible experience for our customers.

What was the most difficult challenge during the first few months of transitioning from a student competing in a contest to a full-fledged bank employee?
The biggest challenge for me in those first few months was adapting to the pressure and pace of work in a professional environment.

As a PTIT student participating in The Moneyverse, I was used to preparing for each challenge, completing tasks within a set timeframe, and focusing on the outcome of a competition. But as a full-fledged bank officer, the responsibilities are much more continuous and practical.

This required me to change my work style, time management, ability to prioritize tasks, and sense of responsibility. It’s no longer just about doing well on a test, but about maintaining accuracy, proactivity, and consistency in my daily work.

For me, this is both a source of pressure and an opportunity for growth. I’m learning to shift from a mindset of “doing my part well” to “proactively fulfilling my responsibilities and collaborating to ensure the best possible results for our shared work.”

Serving as a bridge to help young people better understand and appreciate the values that BIDV brings

How do you see your department’s role as a connecting link when representing the Branch in this The Moneyverse Season 3 2026 program?

From the branch’s perspective, we serve as a connecting link between the program, the branch, our staff, and the contestants, conveying and helping our staff better understand the program’s significance, values, and objectives.

From a professional standpoint, this is also an opportunity to bring BIDV’s digital banking products and solutions closer to the contestants and the public—not just as financial products, but through real-life experiences that are more relatable and accessible.

Personally, as a former contestant on *The Moneyverse* Season 2 and someone currently working at BIDV, I feel I have a rather unique role: I understand both the perspective of the show’s participants and how BIDV actually operates and rolls out its digital products.

Therefore, I hope to serve as a bridge to help both sides better understand each other—so that contestants can better appreciate the value that BIDV brings.

How have your feelings changed since the moment you received the job offer from BIDV’s leadership—from that initial sense of pride to the pressure and sense of responsibility you feel now?

The moment I received the job offer from BIDV’s leadership brought me surprise, joy, and pride; however, after my first few months on the job, those feelings gradually shifted toward a deeper sense of gratitude and a stronger sense of responsibility.

I am happy and proud to be working in a professional environment like BIDV, where I have the opportunity to engage in real-world work and learn many new things. In particular, as I was getting up to speed with my work, I consistently received care, guidance, and support from my colleagues, which helped me adapt more quickly to the new environment.

Therefore, for me, that job offer letter was not only a memorable milestone following my journey at The Moneyverse, but also the starting point for a new journey—from a candidate given an opportunity to becoming a true member of BIDV.

Looking back on your entire journey from The Moneyverse 2025 to your desk today, what is the biggest career development goal you’ve set for yourself at BIDV over the next 2–3 years?

Over the next 2–3 years, my biggest goal is to gradually become an effective link connecting digital products, communications, and BIDV’s digital transformation initiatives.

I hope to go beyond simply understanding and implementing digital banking products to become more deeply involved in the design, management, and communication of digital product development campaigns.

I understand that this is a long-term goal, and to achieve it, I need to focus on building a solid foundation: understanding the products, understanding the customers, understanding banking operations, understanding technology, and honing my project implementation skills.

If you were to share a message with next year’s students who dream of joining BIDV, what would be the most valuable lesson you’d share?

“Whatever you do, be as practical, professional, and dedicated as possible.”

Being practical means understanding the problems you’re solving, understanding customers, and creating value that can be applied in real life and work—rather than stopping at textbook knowledge. Being professional means constantly updating your mindset and adopting modern work methods, having an international perspective and a digital mindset, and knowing how to use technology and data to make decisions and operate more intelligently and efficiently.

Dedication means always taking the work assigned to you seriously and being committed to the value you bring to others. I believe this is particularly important when entering a large, professional environment like BIDV.

Thank you for sharing your insights with our readers. I wish you continued passion and dynamism in your new work environment!
