The event was attended by leaders from the Department of Science and Technology and the People’s Committee of Cua Nam Ward, along with nearly 300 SMEs and business households currently operating in the area. The event is a concrete step toward fulfilling the commitments outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation to support digital transformation and financial services between BIDV and the Hanoi City People’s Committee, signed on June 26, 2026, thereby establishing a model for digital economic development at the commune/ward level to be replicated throughout the capital.

BIDV’s digital solutions ecosystem addresses operational and cash flow challenges
At the event, Ms. Phung Hanh Nga—Head of the SME Business Management Department—introduced a comprehensive digital solution ecosystem designed to thoroughly address operational, cash flow, and capital management challenges for the SME community and small business owners, including: A pair of free-for-life sales management software solutions—Direct Shop (for businesses) and MyShop Pro (for small business owners and street vendors); The QR Global cross-border payment solution—allowing tourists from South Korea, China, Laos, Thailand, and Cambodia to scan BIDV’s QR code to pay directly using their own domestic banking apps.

Additionally, at the event, BIDV shared attractive credit offers and online credit solutions for SMEs and sole proprietors.
