The staff are the ones who transform and deploy those directions into specific actions, from streamlining the apparatus, optimizing processes to initiatives to improve work efficiency. And most importantly, the staff unanimously deploys, each department, each individual moves in step, turning ideas into practical results. Every change, every small improvement originates from this inter-level coordination, creating overall strength, helping BIDV to be both streamlined and effective, firmly overcoming all challenges, ready for new challenges and opportunities in the digital age.

At BIDV Phu My, that guiding spirit has been concretized by a unique approach: politics as the foundation, technology as the tool, people as the center, and efficiency as the measure.

Deeply aware of the role of the "political nucleus", BIDV Phu My Party Committee issued a specialized Resolution on "Organizational streamlining - Model transformation - Retail development" with three strategic focuses: (i) Organizational streamlining, increasing flexibility and efficiency; (ii) Innovation in leadership methods, linking Party building work with specific business tasks; (iii) Promoting the pioneering role of Party members in digital transformation, service culture and professional ethics standards.

The Resolution is not only an orientation, but also a compass for action, thoroughly understood by each Party cell and each Party member, with specific targets on three aspects: ideology, expertise and service culture. Emulation movements have become a typical cultural feature of BIDV Phu My, typically "Exemplary Party member in digital transformation" - where each Party member pioneers in applying technology to serve customers more effectively, "Model working day" - spreading the spirit of responsibility, discipline and creativity.

Thanks to that, BIDV Phu My has become a bright spot in the BIDV system, where each Party member is both a leader and an inspiration for innovation.

A strong shift in the retail model

If “streamlining the apparatus” is an action to streamline the form, then transforming RBT is a step to renew the “soul” of business operations. RBT is not simply restructuring the retail model, but a comprehensive transformation of thinking, operating methods, service methods and organizational culture. Each officer must change the way they think, work, and feel about their profession: from “transaction officer” to “customer companion”, from “bank employee” to “digital brand ambassador”.

After 5 weeks of implementing the final phase of RBT, BIDV Phu My recorded impressive results: Top 1/35 branches implementing in terms of the number of customers interacting and closing sales via VRM; Top 5/35 branches implementing this phase in terms of interaction results and closing sales of PRM. Key indicators such as retail mobilization, CASA, new customers, and labor productivity all increased sharply compared to the same period.

More than numbers, the most valuable thing is the transformation in thinking and action. Each cadre is imbued with the awareness that transformation is not only a professional task, but also a political task - the Party organization's commitment to innovation before the system and the people.

Streamlining is not about “reducing people, reducing work”, but about increasing efficiency and fighting power. With that motto, BIDV Phu My has boldly restructured the organizational structure, clearly arranged the hierarchy and authority, eliminated overlapping steps, and established specific KPIs for each individual, working group and Party cell. Thanks to that, the time for processing documents and approving credit is significantly shortened, work efficiency and customer satisfaction at the branch are increased, personal responsibility is promoted, and the spirit of initiative and creativity is aroused.

Many "digital transformation training" classes are organized periodically, helping each Party member understand that technological innovation cannot be separated from innovation in thinking, cultural innovation and self-management innovation.
