On the afternoon of May 8, The Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Province Women’s Union (LHPN) collaborated with the Dong Thap Branch of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) to organize a training program titled “Enhancing Management Skills and the Use of Financial Tools” for women members who are heads of business households and small business owners in the wards of Cao Lanh, My Tra, and My Ngai.

On April 13, 2026, in Hanoi, BIDV, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Government of Canada, and co-financing partners announced the successful mobilization of a USD 250 million medium- to long-term sustainable financing facility. ADB acted as the mandated lead arranger and book-runner for the facility.
